Rooster (Farm Animals 9) Watercolour
I never really realised (until I started drawing this fine fellow) just how tiny the head is in comparison to the chicken's body.
The rooster makes up for that though with his wattle and comb - all the rage with the young hens, apparently. There are even scientists who have studied such things, proving that hens favour the rooster with the most impressive wattle .
